Yes, the water-themed Miss Iloilo 2023 is one of the most awaited highlights of the country’s Best Tourism Event! After two years of virtual reality and limited audience, this year’s edition will be staged in a grand spectacle on January 18, 2023, Wednesday, at Iloilo Convention Center. National celebrities and famous personalities will grace the coronation night! In fact, Miss Iloilo Committee co-chairs Sarah O. Peña and Beverly Rosales Chaplin and their creative team are very excited!

18 lovely candidates representing different districts of Iloilo City and various municipalities of Iloilo Province will vie for three crowns and two runner up placements, and will have the chance to represent Iloilo City in this year’s Miss Universe Philippines, Miss World Philippines and Bb. Pilipinas.
I had the opportunity to be with the 18 candidates for two days during a video and photo shoot in Boracay. They were fun to be with and each embodies uniqueness, charm, intelligence, beauty, style, values and interesting traits – all in varying degrees, and are empowered in their own distinctive way.
