Visit Iloilo is a tourism campaign to attract inbound local and foreign travelers to enjoy Iloilo! According to Iloilo Festivals Foundation Inc. President ALLAN TAN, “It is our attempt to further promote Iloilo into becoming one of the premier tourist destinations here in our country… and… an invitation for everyone to immerse themselves in our Iloilo history, heritage and hospitality.”

The tourism campaign is supported by the Provincial and City of Iloilo Government, the Department of Tourism of Region 6, Tourism Promotions Board, Philippine chamber of Commerce and Industry of Iloilo, and Iloilo M.I.C.E. Alliance.

For the bright minds behind the campaign, Visit Iloilo is a straightforward title. It “gestures the ultimate response for would-be guests to act.” It aims to facilitate multi-sectoral synergy and collaboration in hopes of improving Iloilo’s tourist receipts increasing economic gains and opportunity for all.

The mid-morning event gave the guests and stakeholders a glimpse of the campaign. A Dinagyang tribe performance, a video presentation of tourist attractions, a song number from Filipino-Canadian YouTuber MIKEY BUSTOS and a fashion show featuring the creations of Ilonggo fashion designers were some of the highlights.

In homage to Iloilo City being a UNESCO City of Gastronomy in 2023, iconic Ilonggo specialties such as batchoy, pancit Molo, chicken inasal, buko pie, meatballs, siopao and tinipgang nga lupu were served much to the delight of everyone!
