As of this writing, Miss Iloilo 2024 and reigning The Miss Philippines Eco International ALEXIE MAE CAIMOSO BROOKS is in thick of preparation for the Miss Eco International 2025 in Cairo, Egypt this April!
At a recent send-off party at BizBar of Richmonde Hotel Iloilo, she outlined before the mainstream and social media practitioners her plans and preparations.
She told everyone that fashion designer RIAN FERNANDEZ will create her Evening Gown while costume designer TATA PIÑUELA will design her National Costume. However, the concept and design for both creations are still under wraps!
Her poise and intelligence got the nod from the press people. She even gave a sample of her Q&A much to the delight of everyone! Well, why not? After all, she is coached by broadcaster JOHN SALA!
For her pasarela, she is trained by experts at Aces & Queens!
Of course, her hair, make up and total look is handled by image stylist LARRY de la PEÑA who has been with her from the onset of her pageant journey!
The 24-year old ALEXIE has made a smooth transition from athletics (yes, she is into Track and Field) to pageantry! Hailing from Leon, Iloilo, she is a graduate of Bachelor of Science in Business Administration Major in Marketing Management from National University in Manila.
In fact, because of her popularity on social media, her Eco Tourism Video currently ranks second among the candidates from other countries, and at the rate things are going, it may soon make it to Number One!
From the inception of Miss Iloilo in 2020, she is the fifth winner. She joins the roster that included RABIYA MATEO (Miss Universe Philippines Iloilo City, Miss Universe Philippines 2020 and Miss Universe 2020 Top 21), KESHAPORNAM RAMACHANDRAN (Miss Universe Philippines Iloilo City 2021, appointed), DOROTHY GEMILLAN (Miss Iloilo 2022-Universe and Miss Universe Philippines 2022 Top 16), RANIELLE SAULOG (Miss Iloilo 2023 and The Miss Philippines 2023 Top 10) and KAREN NICOLE PICCIO (Miss Iloilo 2025 and Miss Universe Philippines Iloilo City 2025).
The Miss Iloilo Committee is co-chaired by SARAH O. PEÑA and BEVERLY ROSALES-CHAPLIN. The organization is under auspices of Iloilo Festivals Foundation, Inc., which is led by its Chairman JUDGEE LOPEZ PEÑA and Iloilo City headed by Mayor JERRY P. TREÑAS.
