After two years of civil marriage, lovely couple architect PABLO ANTONIO III and lawyer RITA PEÑA-ANTONIO celebrated their union with a religious ceremony at St. Clement’s Church in Lapaz, Iloilo City.
The groom is the son of the late Engr. Antonio Victor R. Antonio and Mirja Kyllikki H. Antonio while the bride is the daughter of Iloilo’s power couple Judgee and Sarah Peña (née Opolencia).
He was dapper in Barong Tagalog and she wore a Monique Lhuillier bouffant gown with train.
Principal sponsors were Raul V. Aristorenas and Sol O. Baya, Jose Mari Chan and Beverly R. Chaplin, Ramon Cua Locsin and Dr. Daylinda A. Chung, Dr. Leovigildo Q. Isabela and Francy C. Ong, Jose V. Layson Jr and Amb. Petronila P.!Garcia, Cristino L. Opolencia Jr and Elena B. Javellana, Alfonso G. Tan and Susan J. Juan Tong, Eduardo A. Tankiang and Isabel L. Osmeña, and Robert L. Uy and Mercedes L. Vargas. The couple’s 10 month cute daughter Sophie Beatriz was the Flower Girl.
Of course, the bride’s super sisters Dr. Risa and Engr. Rica were the Maids of Honor.
The groom’s only sibling Anna Katariina H. Antonio was the Best Woman and his best friend Jose D. Gisbert Jr was the Best Man.
A grand reception followed at Nelly’s Garden. As dictated by the dress code, the male guests came in Barong Tagalog while the ladies were in pastel gowns.
Overflowing beveragic delights, delectable hors d’oeuvres, sumptuous dinner, light mapping, firework display, violin entertainment and well coordinated program highlighted the celebration!
