BO PARCON: Every Stitch Tells A Story

“Fashion is more art than art is.” — Andy Warhol

Iloilo’s Bad Boy of Fashion Bo Parcon will present his latest collection at the Filipino American Cancer for Hope and Courage Charity Gala 2026 on October 31, 2026 at the Magnoliya Grand conference and Event Center in Manassas, Virginia, USA.

His Summer 2027 Collection is called “Bisya”. It is a homage to his late father, Romeo Brown Parcon, who hailed from Culasi, Antique. Known for his cutting edge avant garde streetwear aesthetics, Bo draws inspirations, without loosing his individuality, identity and creativity, from fashion-forward Japanese and French designers.

In the Bisya Collection, he seamlessly fused different materials together – hablon with patadyong, jusi and patterned mesh; expertly mixed prints – plaid on stripes, dots and floral; and embellished them with floral cutouts and corsages for added texture. He espouses Filipiniana wear as mainstream fashion if not street wear – “wearable glam” as he puts it.

To say that his pieces are not for the faint of heart is an understatement. They are bold, youthful, spontaneous and unpredictable. The collection is a study of contrast: trendy yet classic, tailored but flowy, structured and layered, global yet truly Ilonggo!

Well thought, each piece tells a story. Masterful tailoring, fabric manipulation, proportion and flawless finishings are evident in every of his 15-piece collection.  One can mix and match the separates for varying looks.

“The fashion show is a heartfelt tribute slideshow honoring cancer warriors, survivors, family, and friends, a special recognition of philanthropic heroes, and a fun Halloween costume party,” enthused Bo Parcon. “More than a celebration, this fundraising event aims to provide meaningful support to 20 to 25 cancer patients in the Philippines, the United States, and other countries, and held in honor of the Filipino American History Month.”
