One beautiful day, fifty-year-old cook and baker Janneth Dela Cruz of Brgy. Mansaya, Lapuz, Iloilo was surprised by MORE Power team surprised her at her home. She became the 100,000th customer of MORE Power, Iloilo City’s sole power distributor. To mark such feat and significant milestone, she received loads of gift packages.
Ma. Cristina Cabalhin, MORE Power VP for Customer Care, and the company team personally delivered a range of gift appliances to her home. It included an oven, dough mixer, rice cooker, electric fan, washing machine, and more. On top of that, she also given groceries and baking supplies, gift certificates and cash for home repairs to further assist her in her livelihood and house repair expenses.
“Mam, you are our 100,000th customer,” said Ms. Cabalhin during the surprise event. “We wanted to celebrate this milestone with you.”
Of course, Janneth was teary-eyed, overjoyed and emotional. Expressed her gratitude, she said, “Maraming-maraming salamat po, sa dami po namin, ako pa po yung napili. Salamat talaga MORE Power… salamat din po sa President kay Sir Roel Castro po, salamat po talaga. Thank you talaga sa staff sang MORE at ako ang napili niyo.”
Equally overwhelmed, her mother, Simonia Gioneo acknowledged Janneth’s hard work in supporting their family through cooking and baking. According to her, “Siya lang na gabaka-baka ubra, tatlo man lang kabataan ya. Madamu gid nga Salamat sa MORE Power ilabi na gid sa ila staff, ilabi na gid sa nagdul-ong.”

In just over four years since taking over as Iloilo City’s distribution utility in February 2020, MORE Power has achieved a remarkable cumulative growth rate of approximately 59.8%, expanding its customer base from over 62,000 to 100,000.
