“Sports do not build character. They reveal it.” – Heywood Broun
Yes, it’s the time of the year when MORE Power employees take time out from their routine to engage in the company’s Annual Sportsfest! As the saying goes, “Work without play make Moroy a dull boy. Moroy is the MORE Power mascot!
Four teams from each department participated in various activities with its members pouring their hearts out in support of each other. The competitiveness went on high gear with the cheers and yells!
Of course, the highlight of the sportsfest was the basketball game with MORE Power President and CEO Roel Castro leading the ceremonial toss up of the ball.
“Sportsfest is always part of our employee engagement. Sa mga bago who just joined us, be ready kasi lahat ng mga taga MORE Power, lahat competitive,” said Mr. Castro.
The MORE Power Sportsfest is part of the power company’s program for its employees who are tirelessly working to provide a great service to the Ilonggos.
For Daphne Karina de Pedro, Vice President Human Capital Management of MORE Power, “With the teams collaborating with one another, naga guwa man ang leadership capabilities sang mga empleyado. With the hinampang we hope mag sinadya ang mga empleyado kag we hope develop ang iban man nga skills. Kung malipay ang mga empleyado mas productive sila sa ubra mas maka service sil sa publiko.”
