Recently, Palm Concepcion Power Corporation (PCPC) celebrated Earth Day by conducting a clean-up activity at Lilintian Creek!
For their day-long clean-up efforts, PCPC volunteers and service providers collected a total of 64.5 kilograms of garbage.
Project Baybay is a regular activity under PCPC’s flagship program for environment. It includes the Adopt-an-Estero or Adopt-a-Creek Program, which was signed into an agreement in 2017 with the Department of Environment and Natural Resources Environmental Management Bureau Region 6 (DENR EMB 6) and Local Government Units in the Province of Iloilo. The aim is to conserve creeks near the power plant facility.
PCPC is the owner and operator of the 135-Megawatt Circulating Fluidized Bed Combustion Power Plant located in Concepcion, Iloilo.
