MORE Power’s one-time refund benefits 90 thousand consumers

Recently, MORE Power, through its Energy Sourcing Manager, Engr. RALPH DORILAG, announced its move to implement a one-time refund for the billing cycle of November 18 to December 14, 2023! Indeed, it is an early gift to its 90 thousand consumers.

According to Engr. Dorilag, the refund, which will amount to P2.7644 per KwH, is based on the ERC resolution 14 series of 2022 or the resolution adapting the revised rules on automatic cost adjustment throw-up mechanism and corresponding confirmation process for distribution utilities.

For a household that consumes 300 KwH a month, they can save around 800 pesos for their bill this December. However, he clarified that on December 15, billing rates will be back to its regular rate.

Power supply rates in the global market remains unpredictable but MORE Power assures its consumers that it continues to look for a cheaper power supply to ease the burden of its consumers.
