This weekend don’t think about Monday, it will come soon enough.” – Robert Rivers

The long weekend leading to the Philippine Independence Day was a good reason to party to celebrate freedom. And La Carmela de Boracay Resort Hotel and Convention Center did just that! In fact, the hotel was already toasting love, freedom and pride for the month of June in its promos!

Dubbed Endless Summer, the two-night sunset to midnight party was held at the Pool Deck and nearby Café Luisa. It was also highlighted by acoustic music and firedance! There was food and drinks galore – from bilaos of selected grilled favorites to combo drinks to signature cocktails (yes, one of the concoctions was Endless Summer)!

On our first day in Boracay, lunch is always at Jasper’s Tapsilog and Bistro.

Our Boracay trip is not complete without partying at Jardin Mediterranean Cuisine. Here with Dado Tan and our Italian friend Davide.

With clear skies, colorful beans strewn on the pool deck, and sound and light system ready, the Endless Summer Party at La Carmela de Boracay is about to start.

In our blue, red, yellow and white outfits, Orson Orleans, Nacy Hechanova, yours truly and Dado Tan are ready to party.

Naturellement, our gang – DADO TAN, ORSON ORLEANS, NACY HECHANOVA, JOEL CATONG and yours truly were present and accounted for. We were joined by bloggers RAYMART ESCOPEL and ZACH GOLEZ who chronicled the event. DJs CHAMYK LICAROS and JIMTH GATCHALIAN took charged of the danceable music from disco 80s to current hits.

To say it was fun is an understatement. Everyone grooved and had a wonderful time. The partyphiles requested and was granted an extension of partying.

It’s party mood for Raymart Escopel, Nacy Hechanova, yours truly, Dado Tan and Mary Love Apelado.

In our leisure time, we hang around at So Beachy! Café, a coffee shop cum convenience store, and toured the celebrity suites and deluxe rooms. And, yes, it was buffet all the way from breakfast to dinner at Café Luisa for all of us! On top of that, we were billeted in de lux rooms that offer good views of the beach and the pool!

The event and our stay were made possible, memorable and comfortable by the combined forces and kindness of BOY SO and family, Resident Manager MARY LOVE APELADO, FO KATHLEEN JUNE JOMENTO JASPE, LEA CHIVA, ALMA and MAERINOR F., TONY, KARL, TIMOTHY and GEORGE, and Trip Coordinators RUFO, AL, MARLON, BOYET, ERVIN and MILKEE.
