MORE powers its Molo Substation

Alone, we can do so little, together we can do so much.” – Helen Keller

Three months after it was launched, the state-of-the-art 30/36 MVA Mobile Power Transformer, located in Molo, Iloilo, was successfully energized by MORE Power. Needless to say, it ushered in a new era of power distribution.

MORE Power, the distribution utility in Metro-Iloilo, is the first in the country to utilize ABB’s cutting-edge PASS M00 technology, along with other advanced equipment from Siemens, ASTOR A.Ş, Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories, and Maschinenfabrik Reinhausen.

With this new technology, the distribution utility’s consumers can now expect more reliable and efficient electricity, which will result in reduced power outages and losses.

ROEL Z. CASTRO, the company’s President and CEO, did not mince words when he expressed his gratitude to their partners and re-emphasized their commitment to delivering top-notch service to their customers. “Our partnership with EEI and Aktif has allowed us to bring the latest technology and innovations to provide the best quality service that our consumers deserve.”

Additionally, the energization of the new equipment marks a significant milestone for MORE Power and the business community in Iloilo City.

Sooner than soon, the company will start rehabilitating and upgrading the old Molo substation while temporarily using the said mobile substation to serve the consumers in the district.

“The new equipment is designed to ensure customers’ access to reliable and cost-efficient power supply, which will contribute to the growth and development of the booming business community in Iloilo City,” Castro explained.

Without doubt, the upgrade will also benefit the city’s business operations, with a more stable power supply leading to increased efficiency.
