Now that the general situation is slowly going back to pre-pandemic level and restrictions are eased but guarded, Miss Iloilo is back with a bang. More than a year of planning is more than enough to make its 2023 edition a fabulous celebration of heartfelt beauty!
Eighteen official candidates for Miss Iloilo 2023 were introduced in a Press Presentation. They were culled from three rigid and intense screenings. They represent the different districts of Iloilo City and various municipalities of Iloilo Province.
Miss Iloilo 2023 is co-chaired by SARAH O. PEÑA and BEVERLY ROSALES CHAPLIN, under the auspices of Iloilo Festivals Foundation, Inc. (IFFI) led by Chairman JUDGEE LOPEZ PEÑA and President JOEMARIE V. LAYSON, and pageant direction of award-winning filmmaker KEVIN PIAMONTE. Of course, it will highlight the Iloilo Dinagyang Festival 2023, which, according to Mayor JERRY P. TREÑAS, promises to be a grandiose spectacle of culture, religiosity, thanksgiving and resiliency.

Weeks leading to the Coronation Night on January 18, 2023 at Iloilo Convention Center, the 18 candidates will undergo a beauty camp under the mentorship of experts and professionals from Cosmo-Manille and Iloilo on Q&A, pasarela, stage deportment, personality development, make up and more. They will also participate in fashion shows, costume and talent presentations, photoshoots, sponsors’ activities, courtesy calls, media engagements and other related events.
On the Coronation Night, three crowns are up for grabs – Miss Iloilo Universe 2023, Miss Iloilo-Binibini 2023 and Miss Iloilo World. The Miss Iloilo Queens 2023 will a chance to represent Iloilo City in Miss Universe Philippines 2023, Binibining Pilipinas 2023 and Miss World Philippines 2023.
